Grapple Grub was a game produced by myself and a team of 11 others. Over 3 months, I tackled all facets of the character design process, from iterative concept art, 3D modelling, rigging, texturing, and animations (gathered from Maximo).
In Grapple Grub you and two friends work for rival food delivery companies: Leftovers, Good and Greazy, and Foober Uoods. You play as the companies respective delivery boy robot, and compete to see who can complete the most deliveries in a day by parkouring and grappling your way through a neon city.
This project was a wonderful opportunity to stretch some character design muscles and bring a character through the entire pipeline.
With a large team, I got lots of feedback on my designs throughout the process, and each step has multiple iterations, allowing me to push myself and my designs further. I also got help that expanded my own knowledge on areas such as Unity's Mecanim system which was put together by Walter Keiler and I.
